Gary you just woke me up... the hunt is on! Though I would leave such an offer for a newbie, the same way I benefited eight years ago.

Re: Prorasso

I really enjoy both the original green (you need to appreciate menthol for this one) and the sandalwood (red). Both perform very well and have a price point that allows for a pint on the way home.

Re: good sipping whiskey?

The Van Winkle is very hard to come by. I know the owner of the parent company (Buffalo Trace) but that by no means gives me unlimited access. It only helps me snatch a bottle every now and again and I make them last. I'm currently sitting on half a bottle of 15 year. Nw My wife's cousin called me ...

Just cracked open a new puck of Ogallala Bay Rum Limes and Peppercorn soap. A fine tribute to the art of Bay Rum shaving!

Hi JD - I would echo Squires comments - the adjustables I use are set to a point of satisfaction and never adjusted again. By finding a fixed head that works for you, you will accomplish the same.

All good men - this should serve as a warning to those trying to peddle low grade chocolate from abroad!

I just opened a tube of the new Sandalwood - my take is that is performs equally as well as any other scented T&H cream (my experience is 1805 & Grafton). The scent is very amicable - while I am not familiar with their original Sandalwood, this is a fine bouquet. Not quite Trumper's but cert...

It think you are spot on Gordon. There is considerable risk in depreciating a brand that carries its market share from repeat customers and word of mouth. Creativity on their part would go along way - though selling a product that claims to be the original, though performs like hotel soap could be d...

This is one of the most memorable Masters for me in years - so much by the way of side story.... Tigers penalty strokes are really going to be an interesting challenge as he is T10 just now.

Love it!

Thanks again guys - appreciate it all including Gary's updates!

Additionally- it appears that Fitjars has now has reasonable shipping rates and my new foray into straights was relatively short lived (perhaps to be taken up again at a later date!)

Thanks guys - always enjoyed this place and glad to see things are chiming along.

Its nice to see that 'everything and nothing' is new in the shaving world. Looks like I will need to hoard my older Trumpers soaps though!
