Thank you for all your advice gentlemen. It probably is the angle im using. I appreciate the replies. I may as well learn honing now. Ill probably pick up the yellow stone. Thanks again.

Hey drmoss. Actually the razor did it from day one. I did'nt strop for the first shave, as per the instructions. I know my stropping needs improving, no offense taken believe me. I just felt that since it was honed and not stropped that I needed a much sharper blade. Any advice on what stone to get?

Hi noththe sharpest. I was under the impression the Pro Supers were the suicidally sharp ones. I was afraid to try those blades.

Thank you guys. Very helpful information. I think ill also pick up that dvd classic has. I want to do this right. Hopefully I wont mess up the blade to much lol. Ill report back on ther esults as soon as I get the strop.
