Any tips on breaking in a new Simpson Colonel? Sent my original Colonel back to Simpson and they replaced it. Want to make sure I do everything right.

I sent mine in yesterday after going to the post office. $16 Priority Mail. UPS Stores must be crazy or the lady put something in wrong.

I've read where some of you mention shipping a brush back to the manufacturer. I have a Simpson that was shedding and wanted Simpson's to check it out. Went to local UPS Store and they quoted me $130 for UPS or $65 via Postal priority mail. Holy crap! I can buy a new brush cheaper! What have you all...

I'll try and see what comes out. I always hang it in my razor/brush stand whick sits on my bathroom counter in a newer, climate controlled house to dry. I shave about every 1-2 days.

I highly recommend the Victorinox Deluxe Tinker model. I absolutely love the small pliers on this model. Be careful, knives can be addictive!

I find the 7 O'clock Gillette yellow box to be darn close as these and Irridiums have been my go-to blades for the past several months.
