Glad to hear you are on the mend. Being late posting to this thread, I triple the already huge sympathy pool you have been floating around in. Although not related to back pain, I have had a course or two of physical therapy in my life and at some point they usually let me go off on my merry little ...

Oh where do I stop? 1. Being seated at a table that has not been properly cleaned and reset. Oh sure, I just love the feeling of sticky menus, gunk on the table, and the previous "diner's" crumbs on the seat. If the place is nice enough to have a host/hostess (which frankly is a very low s...

For shaving the adams apple area, other than being very gentle and not pressing down, you can try experimenting with holding a swallow. Yes, I know this sounds really strange, but trust me on this. Start by watching your adams apple in the mirror while you swallow. At some point during the swallow y...

I'll take a stab at a couple of your questions and I have no doubt others on the board will chime in. Nancy Boy is a GREAT shave cream. Some don't think it is all that hot, but it is my absolute favorite. A tub is just another way of saying "jar." Shave cream usually comes in tubes (like t...

I think the little one is the travel version of the Gillette Tech. Sometimes you find them with a little travel case. I could be wrong though.

Re: Beard

Ok I really want to grow a beard so I have deacided to take some hormone pills/testosterone pills to help get some facial hair, I hope that this will help me grow some as I am really anxious to get some facial hair. DE stands for Double Edge and refers to the "old" square razor blades with an edge on each end. Take a tour through the achives here and you will find a wealth of information. Also, you might start by watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjhIy9rgWQU along with the other vide...

Welcome JBC - Yep, many of us have used an electric razor in prior lives. I used one during my teenage years and even into my twenties. So much in fact that I eventually worked a hole through the foil (it was a non-rotary model, and no, it wasn't a Norelco Cool Skin). Lamentably, I didn't notice the...

I have had the exact same experience with the Anthony oil free moisturizer and I use a DE. Through trial and error I have found that if I apply some Coral Skin Food first and then wait a few minutes before applying the moisturizer it does not burn.

YMMV

This kind of thing irritates me to the extreme. Sloppy security is bad enough, but delay in acting to minimize the damage is unforgiveable. I am glad the press release contains the brand names because I am done with any store under this company's ownership.

I kept the sink basin filled with a little warm water to dip-clean the razor between strokes and a coffee mug with hot water for a dip-rinse-warm-it-up. Saves water and I always have a nice warm clean razor for each stroke.

I assume this renovation will include the installation of a counter top single burner heating element (preferably ceramic top) for keeping your shave bowl & lather warm, yes? And don't forget the ice bucket for the Guinness.
