Thank you, Gary. I thought it might be nice if I shared mine. Your brush is just as nice!

Re: Wet Shaving and the Internet

I can say it isn't just you that has thought there should be some record of the history of shaving forums. I've had that thought on occasion and oddly enough was having it today as I've been looking through old information and considering how to consolidate the information I'm reading. I've taken to...

Re: Bad news - suddenly a shedder

Not sure when's the last time I posted here, but your post hooked me since I had a Semogue 2000 early in the start of my hobby I liked real well that developed a problem with the handle finish cracking. I contacted the vendor, Vintage Shave, and they put me in touch with the shop. I sent the brush b...

Like others have stated, beware as the desire to want to get more will come up, but an excellent first choice for a brush you've made! I've got a variety of Simpsons as well, and they are overall my favorite brand. I like others for sure, but for me nothing quite beats the Simpson brush to me! :)

I'm still surprised that Em had a few more of the Beauforts than I thought she did! Very glad that some more people could take advantage of it! I thought it was cool I could find a NOS Pre-Vulfix Simpson so close to where I lived. Glad I could help out! Joe, thanks again as you were one of the few ...

I hope that I am mistaken river1 and she has one left. I think that the website might not automatically have a shutdown on the stock when it runs out and has to be done manually. When I ordered mine back in January she indicated that she only had 2 Beaufort 6's left, and I ordered one of those two, ...

Hey glad that was left there for you John! That was definitely the last Beaufort 6 though, unless Em has a Classic Shaving sized warehouse and misplaced some stock!

I have a puck of QED soap that was loose enough to come out free of the container. I noticed one day I felt some rattling as I was using it and I turned it upside down and a few shakes later it popped right out. So sometimes you can get lucky and have your cake and eat it too! Or in this case have y...

Good news to hear Mark! It'll be great to be able to see the info up on the website! I had a question about the Rover, was that going to be a Limited Edition or become a regular production brush?

The M7 is actually what the Emperor and Tulip was derived from. Gary had explained about it, probably over on B&B, about this. So that's why it does appear to be a cross of the two.

I like the idea of a longer loft myself. As long as it has ample density they can be great. Plus I'm sure there will be some variances and you could try getting one of the shorter lofts!
