I like it, too. I haven't noticed it to be too greasy but maybe than is another word for moisturizing?

I like using the same company shaving cream, after shave, balm and cologne whenever I can. Tabac products work good together.

Sorry for the disruptive turn this took. The reason for posting in "forum feedback" was meant to be constructive. Some of us have less disposable income these days and I happen to think all the contributors deserve a simple & private thank you. I never was looking for public recognitio...

Thanks, Chris - I know its sometimes awkward stepping in for someone else. I also PM'ed the owner just to make sure he received my contribution but he never responded. Maybe I am showing my age but I still believe in manners. Happy to help out but I'd have to think about ever contributing again. Pr...

SMF Paypal Contributions

One suggestion is acknowledging members that make Paypal contributions. Nothing fancy, maybe a simple thank you in a PM or email.

Tabac Hair Cream

I am a big fan of Tabac shaving products so decided to try their hair cream. It reminds me of Brylcreem, that is to say a little dab is all you need. Perhaps a little less greasy, a little less shiney, too. The hold is also similar, not stiff like gel or a pomade but more natural. Admittingly I don'...

I've used a bar or two of Spieck and like it. The bar lasted longer than some other brands. It's good stuff, just like their shaving products.

I don't know why the moderators at B&B banned Greg. Only they know. According to them (and some direct email correspondence with a moderator there) it was for using more than one account. Well, I certainly didn't mean to open up a can of worms. I used to moderate a backpacking site a few years ...

I own a Ikon Bulldog, open comb model and it likely my best razor. A work of art really.

Not sure why the Badger and Blade forum won't discuss this razor or company which is rather juvenile on their part. It's one reason why I joined this forum. I have no idea what else is censored there.

I recently purchased the Grosvenor boar/badger version and am quite pleased with it. It certainly looks and performs like a much more expensive brush, making it a real good value. I was initially caught up with all the hoopla high end badger's receive but have grown to prefer brushes with a bit more...
