FS: The Kitchen Sink (SOLD)

I have recently confirmed a few things about myself. They are: -I am not really a cologne/aftershave kind of guy. I rarely use anything other than balms. -I am a dedicated hard soap shaver. -While I collect razors, I don't need to keep extra shavers around. With that in mind, I offer the following f...

The problem is that most people who have such a razor are collectors and not normally inclined to sell it.

On the other hand, everything has a price. My guess is that it would take a lot of money to get one of these collectors to part with a prized razor--quite possibly more money than you realize.

A couple of years ago, I bought a collection of Tabac items from a fellow SMF member. It included shave soap, maybe half a dozen bar soaps, some stick deodorant, and some deodorant spray. The bar soap is very good (although very potent). However, the bars are not terribly large, and didn't last very...

Nice grab.

My daily carry knife is a 940--which is very similar to this one (except that it has a reverse tanto blade).

Where did you purchase your Tabac shave sticks? Mine was given to me by a German friend whose relatives brought it over from Germany. I got them on ebay. There is a guy there that regularly sells them in a "buy it now" listing. As I recall, you can get one for about $18 delivered. Send me...

I have a couple of D.R. Harris shave sticks. No problem with either one. It's true that they are of smaller diameter than QED's, but OTOH they are triple-milled soap and not glycerin, so I suspect the lifetime of each is about the same. Do you find any differences in the scent between the stick and...

I have Tabac and Irisch Moos shave sticks (two of each). I keep one in my shaving kit for when I am traveling. I find that it is much more convenient to use those when I am away than anything else. Edit: I should have mentioned that I face lather regardless of whether I am using a shave stick, a puc...

I really don't see any gay tones in their advertising or item descriptions. Their newsletter on the other hand is a bit different, but whatever. The heart of the matter is that they are located in an area in San Francisco that does have a lot of homosexuals, however, the store itself is quite profe...

I'm in for about $100 or so for the HB soap. If the price/puck is cheap, that just means I'll get more pucks. I'd spring for a bowl if it were available (I have the bowls of EF and BB and would like to keep the set complete).

I'd spend a similar amount on EF shaving cream.

No "products" as such, but my routine usually consists the following: I've taken a liking to the Yardley bath soap (US). No particular shampoo, but rarely anything "high end". After shaving, usually some GFT Limes Skin Food, followed by one of several T&H AS balms that I have...

It looked like a Parker razor to me. Pretty cool.

Also cool was the fact that in the next scene, a different guy (HRG) was shown sitting in a limo with little pieces of tissue on his face. The passenger tells him to get a proper razor. :)
