I think was is tough about the neck and something alot of people struggle with is that as you go up your neck the angle keeps changing because the angle of the skin on your neck changes as you go towards your chin. They maintain a consistent angle and go into their skin as opposed to going along it....

I bought some of the KMF along with the bar soap and tried it. I used the brush on the bar soap first and then worked it into the cream, which looks more like lotion. JohnP was right this really does create a great lather and the scent is definately there. The shave came out very smooth but I had mo...

While I have never tried olive oil I use baby oil as a pre-shave every time i shave...while I enjoy this it shoudl be known that it doesn't make it any easier to hold your razor, and since my futur does have anything on it to help your grip I have to be careful not to drop it...otherwise i think its...

How does a silver tip feel
I have a pure badger brush and while its relatively soft when the tips of the hairs press against my face when I bring it to my face it causes a bit of irritation. After I shave i still have that feeling of the hairs pressing against skin and it is almost prickly. I don't know if this makes sense to...

thanks for replying Bernard...I gave the dove a shot today shaving, and the shave came out great, without any irritation as I had been experiencing with the shaving soap that I had (from Monterey Soap). My skin looks much healthier now after the shave. Usually for each pass I have to relather by bui...

You guys are gonna hate me
I know this idea might sound sacriligeous to wet shaving purist who prefer to use the finest soaps and creams, but I was thinking to myself the other day that dove soap might make a good lather, and being that it is very soft on my skin, I thought i would see the kind of lather I could get with it u...

Great fragrance website
If you guys want a solid fragrance website to go with Basenotes check out www.osmoz.com. This site almost always will give you the notes of the cologne and generally has a decent right up. The collection of names they have is very comparable to basenotes.

After shave skin care
What I've been doing lately after I shave is applying a thin layer of aloe vera gel to my face cuz that eases some of the irratation I might have and isn't to heavy or greasy. Then I put on a little bit of moisturizer...I generally use Aveeno but I feel that any moisturizer as long as it is non-come...

Hey Tim, I have also used that scrub by st. ives and while i agree that its a good soap I would advise against using it every day. I don't know if you personally use it every day but I have read in several sources and even been told by a dermatologist that using a scrub every day can actually have a...

Has anyone ever tried making their own shaving soap? I read some instructions online the other day and am wondering if it is worth the effort of trying.
