Payment sent.

Take as long as want before sending it Gareth there is no rush. I already have a lifetime supply of creams and soaps, including a tub of Coates Lime still not even half used.

Btw, it's my birthday today. I'll think of this a gift to myself for my birthday.

Where were you Bob when I bought 24 packs of these and alerted Gordon to the fact that I had left some of the lot being sold on eBay there for someone else to snap up.

So, is this discussion about Will, or his soaps? I somehow feel bad for the fella that made really special shaving soaps who died. Does anyone know the story of Will? I could be mistaken, but for some reason I think I read somewhere a long time back that he died of AIDS. I cannot however swear by it.

I was appalled tonight to discover that my son got into my pot of Coate's Rose, and used about 5 times more than he needed to for his shave. Needless to say, the pot was removed from his reach....sigh. Regards, Gordon Time for you to get him him own "shaving knife" for measuring out the p...

Nope. I see it at all the pharmacy chains in Montreal, and they are all moving to the 75 mL format.

Arghh !!! I wish I had noticed this sale, I would have stocked up with 4-5 bottles. I know why they were clearing out the stock quickly with a sale. They wanted to get rid of all remaining bottles before putting the new bottles on the shelf. Previously the bottles of After Shave balm were 100 mL or ...

Rufus, They started using coatings in the 1960s, and by the '70s, they'd really gotten it down. The Wilkinsons, and some of the Schick and Gillette blades from the '70s and '80s were better made and more sophisticated than just about anything being made currently, IMO. A lot of men were still using...

AP wire story from the past couple of days: WELLINGTON, N.Z.–A family court judge in New Zealand has had enough with parents giving their children bizarre names and did something about it. Just ask Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii . He had her renamed. In a ruling made public yesterday, Justice Rob ...

People do it all the time to meet the conditions. I thought it was rather witty myself :D

I've seen others do the same thing but mask the obviousness of it just a tad more, but the end result was the same. They got to the 25 posts required and sold their stuff.

……what I really enjoy the most are the clothes, furniture, attitudes...everything is period perfect for 1960. Not quite perfect. If you look closely, you’ll see IBM Selectric II typewriters on the secretaries’ desks. Definitely not available in the early ‘60s - came out, I believe, in 1971. Steve Y...
