My choice would be Taylor's Sandalwood old stock. That is what I use with Creed's Leather. Alas, I have about twenty shaves worth left of the good ol' stuff.

I've had good luck with these also and switch between them and the Derby's.

I'll have to give the nod to Proraso for thr medicinal scent, it reminds of childhood colds.

I ask this because this is not a problem for me and I have soft water; I also open my razor after each shave and rinse it vigorously, blow it dry with my mouth and then wipe off with a towel. My razor looks as if it were new.
