before i started DE Shaving i used these as much as i can but they weren't always in stock because they are so popular so i had use my Gillette 6 blade "senstive" vibrating torture device (which i still have and its collecting dust now) if i have to use a disposables i would definitely use...

Hey DMC welcome to smf I can't help you with the soap other then stay away from van der hagen deluxe soap it provides some glide but no cushion but ymmv. You will probably be stuck doing the three passes but maybe a different blade could help get a closer shave but I would stick with one blade till ...

the funny part i also cut my self with a derby blade which is my favorite so far, but i also like nacets which are sharper but i do agree with the first shave is rough and get better as you use them at least for some blades

blade testing funny YMMV thought

so since i started blade testing every time i got a cut on the first shave with a new blade it eventually becomes my favorite blade and with blades i hate that didn't happen :roll:. :lol:

I would buy one but the price has to be fair. But knowing that it comes from AOS I think it would be Rather expensive just like every thing in AOS stores.

i got 7 great shaves with my first blade i tried last week these blades are my second favorite blade i tried so far with my blade testing :D

ASCO stainless rezor blades

since i'm still blade testing i was looking through my stack of packs and i saw the ASCO'S and i was looking at the package and it says made in Egypt and that just made me think if these were also made by lord's (which my face hates) or not and i cant find much on google.

shaving soap lathering help

so i got a vander hagen shave set and i've been trying to get the soap to lather for me but some how i can get it to work for me.i also got some shave cream form the body shop the I've been using that and getting great lather but i still haven't figure out how to get lather from the soap i also trie...

wlcome steve the shick krona is a vintage razor some of the older models of de razor tend to more mild, (i dont have one yet :wink: ) but that is the consensus of the shaving community

So for the last couple days I've been testing this stuff out its not very good for lather more lotion feel but on the packageing it says it could work as a after shave balm and it does work for after shave very well still not as good as an actual after shave but I would still use it

will i got a better shave with the big bens then the classics (which always left me irradiated) oh well. thanks for your help i might of passed the big bens if i did know that they were the same blades beforehand but hey they work for me,

Big Ben super stainless

so i tried big ben super stainless razor blades today i thought i would compare notes with you guys and see what happens, so i hated the lords classic super stainless blades so i was thinking these were just repackaged lords blades but to me they were a lot smoother that the the lords super stainless
