I have been using flitz with great results, but its a little messy, takes a lot of elbow grease and leaves my hands black all the time. Is MAAS cleaner/easier to work with?

I bought an OC HD Merkur at Pasteur's. Don't remember which Pasteur's it was though.

I've never used the Feather AC, but most of us here prefer to use DE's/straights over todays multiblade razors because we feel satisfied using quality tools and getting the job done right. Wiliams is one of my favorites. I can whip up a decent lather and it leaves my skin nice and clean feeling (I brush it all over my face after I shave and then I rinse). As far as ingrowns go, I am less prone to ingrowns when using soaps because I find them to be more accurate, giving a better sensor...
