Iron, Steel and Battleships

Post by drmoss_ca »

Those of you read my mutterings in the straight razor forum may have picked up a little bit of the metallurgy of iron and steel. A very little bit as I'm fairly ignorant on the topic. If it interests you at all, here is a quick video about the same issues as applied to the development of armour plate for warships. I found it quite fascinating.

The subject has begun to interest me. I'm going to dig a bit into the process and see how it's done. Thanks for these links.
