Office chair

Post by Sam »

Best office chair for sciatica under $400. Used Herman Miller Aeron? What about anything from IKEA?. Or Amazon?

Mesh? Faux Leather or cloth?

What about those little platforms that go under the desk for your feet that are angled? Do those provide any benefit? I saw one for like $40 at Relax The Back

We no longer have a Staples so that means I can’t go sit in it. I did go to Office Depot and I was thoroughly unimpressed with any of their chairs at all for lumbar support. Many of them had a fixed lumbar support which means it hit the small of my back but if I needed it to go up or down it would not. I do like the idea of mesh to keep it cooler. I’m finding that if I have to have a zoom meeting and I’m wearing a sports coat, a leather or cloth chair can get hot

Sam, you should take a road trip and try out the chair fallingwickets posted, they really are worth the money, very comfortable to sit in all day long. My office switched to them and we have never looked for another since.

Marty
