It's a catalogue from the 90ś, I got one from DR Harris too (in which they, among other things, promote a range of colognes, soaps, talcum etc called "Bewitch"). I was planning on uploading them here, if anyone is interested in seeing them of course.

Yes, I have been quite busy at work lately so I haven't had the time to upload them but I promise I will!

I just made an impulse buy of two small 10ml bottles of Patou Pour Homme, It was quite expensive for just two small bottles but I've always wanted to try this legendary fragrance.

Oops. I don't have a proper unboxing photo, so I'll used this SOTD photo from a few days ago.
RazoRock xXx soap and aftershave. This is one of the very rare times I'd bought an aftershave without having smelled it first, and only went by the listed fragrance notes on the Italian Barber site. I'm quite pleased with it.
By this time I'd transfered the AS and its label to a spray bottle.

By sheer coincidence, those are all Canadian brand name products, including the Fendrihan Classic Pure Grey Badger brush.

John, it looks like you like the Henson razor better than I do.

It has a very narrow blade gap, just like a very mild razor, but, unlike a mild razor, when the blade in the Henson makes contact, it bites. I shaved with it twice, once with the supplied Astra blade (terrible) and once with a favorite Treet Dura Sharp (better, but still not good). I wasn't able to get a smooth or comfortable stroke with it. It appears that one needs to get the blade angle just so, or it will either not cut or it will gouge.

Since I have other razors that work very well for me, I don't think I'll put the effort into trying to figure this one out.

Two vintage bottles of T&H Spanish Leather and Clubman, which the seller said he bought in the 90s and I think one can also tell that due to the bottle's more rounded cap, compared to the more rectangular caps they use today.
According to posts by Gordon, the total alteration of the scents happened in the early 2000s and these bottles are supposedly made, as I said, prior to that -- well, that's at least what I'm hoping for anyway! With the Spanish Leather one, you can also clearly see that the juice is much darker compared to the juice in today's bottles and that is, also from what I've come to understand, yet another good sign that it is in fact probably the original Spanish Leather. Let's just hope that the Clubman is the none-reformulated one as well, which I'll probably could tell when I receive them.

Yes, I bet he would. Unfortunately, he was active well before my time on here but it sure would have been neat to get a confirmation from him that I actually bought the right stuff this time!

Anyway, I've loved reading his posts and I'm am very grateful for all the knowledge he managed to spread, I really do wish that he's doing fine and well nowadays!

Wow. I happened upon some vintage Penhaligon's Racquets Formula shaving cream. It's one of my favorite aftershave scents, and I hadn't realized that there was a shaving cream version ever made.
