Hello and I am glad to be here...

Post by primotenore »

(Mods, I could not find a "new member" thread, feel free to re-locate.)
Hi all,
I am brand new here and excited to meet some new wet-shaving enthusiasts. Many of you may know me from other shave fora, but if not, I certainly look forward to interacting with many of my fellow wet-shavers.
Thanks for having me. :D

Welcome to SMF!
Just out of curiosity, are you a recent convert to "real" shaving, or has it been a while?

Hi John,
I "saw the light" in January of 2014. I have been quite active on three other shave fora, but only recently found SMF.

Well, welcome to the oldest surviving shaving forum still in its original format. The only older forum - straightrazorplace - was a Yahoo! group and survives as a web forum (one I'm trying my damnedest to keep going by cross-posting).

You didn't see that in my signature, because I didn't add it until you asked me. I had forgotten. It is in all of my other forum signatures.
Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the welcome. I was fully entrenched in cart shaving when you first joined this forum.
