I developed a craving today for Russian Tea Cookies, but I did not have any powdered confectioner's sugar. So I went ahead and made some with granulated sugar. They're not bad. I'll have some this evening while watching a recorded Agatha Christie's Poirot episode.

Yes, I think they would. But I am a philistine: I had them with hot chocolate.

You can make powdered sugar by putting regular sugar in a blender.
I love getting tea cakes (and whatever else they're serving) at the Russian Tea House in St. Paul.
