This lump of ambergirs sold to a buyer in France. Hopefully it will turn up in some frags before too long!

Not really surprising, that stuff has always been highly prized. What is surprising is the EU would still allow it's use.

High Quality ambergris. Fresh from the whale mouth. Going to be used to makes some fantastic fragrances.

I'm pretty sure my favorite aftershave doesn't have any ambergris. :)

Whales aren't harmed in its production- it's usually nothing more than whale hairballs that wash up on the beach.

There's so many synthetic substitutes now days like Ambroxan, the only real demand for this is in boutique fragrances.
