Hey Soulshine, How long does the SCS Bay Rum with a twist last on you? On me it lasts less then 2 hours
It's a shame as I REALLY liek the scent.

Not Soulshine but on my person it lasts 8 hours. Folks have different chemistries that determine logevity of scents. Go figure.

i put it on around 9ish and it's still going right now & it's 12:45. i would not say the lime is as strong but the bay rum is more there.
looks like on a warm sunday quite a few gents went with the lime scents today.

Saturday:
Wilkinson Sword "Sticky" w/Feather blade
Col. Conk Bay Rum soap
Simpson's Chubby 2 (best badger)
Cleanup pass with Gillette Rocket w/Feather blade
Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel
GFT Limes Skin Food
T&H West Indies Lime A/S Balm
This gave me one of the best, longest lasting BBS shaves I've ever had. I don't know whether the WS or the Rocket should get most of the credit.
Sunday:
I had a lot of yard work to do, so I was going to skip shaving. During the afternoon, my wife asked if we could go to Barnes and Noble, so I did a quick single pass N-S shave.
Gillette Rocket w/Feather blade
Col. Conk Bay Rum soap
Simpson's Chubby 2 (best badger)

Sunday:
Gilette 40s Super Speed / Feather blade
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap (fantastic lubrication w/o prep)
D.R. Harris H1 Best Badger
Rose hydrosol
Rosehip seed oil blend
Thierry Mugler Cologne. Like a traditional Eau de Colgone. Very light (almost like wearing no fragrance, just being freshly cleaned with nice soap), soapy, citrusy with a slight green twist. Some similarities to 4711. One of my suitable-for-gym choices. Armando

Scarface-
How'd the QED F&M saop work for you? I get the closest shaves ever with QED soaps (almost too close)...

Scott:
Thanks for the soap...it is extremely close and the scent is not bad either when you lather it up but I can't stand the smell right out of the tub lol.
Paired with the Fatboy and a feather blade its total bliss

Sunday:
Gillette '58 TV razor with Gillette Swede
Tom's of Maine brushless shave cream
Lots of cold water
Note to self: read the label and don't use a brush, even if it's a cheapo boar brush. I now have a "miny" boar brush.
