Uh oh..... what do you guys think about this brush IDEA
I'll take either one. By far the most attractive brushes I've ever seen. I was ready to give up on the group brush, but man, these are stunning. Simplistic, yet extremely elegant. Pick one Joel, or better yet, see if Bernd can make both.

The individual that makes them (above) charges $550.00 each.

I say we go with one of those shapes. The handle I am guessing will be a bit different because 26 mm from what I can see is a much larger knot that is in them currently. I say we stick with the same wood that was already agreed on. It doesn't make sense to try to start that over again!

I think we just did....It doesn't make sense to try to start that over again!
Number 1 from me.
EDIT: Just noticed that the top one is made of Cocobola wood - one of the woods Joel initially presented as an option - looks quite nice when finished IMO!

Guys,
Joel was asking is what you thought of this particular shape not starting over with new wood choices etc at least to my interpretation of the thing. Could be wrong it has happened before. My girlfriend always has told me so I know it happens

I actually like #1 the best out of all the brushes we've seen... This is better than the other options we've seen in the previous threads... We might actually have a better concesus on these brushes than the previous ones, since we can actually see real pics of these ones....
It would just have to have a nice looking thick knot in it as this pic looks very thin maybe 18-20 mm; it should look nice with 26mm

I have a Vulfix 2236. If you hold it upside down it is very similar in shape to the above. It is actually quite confortable and I believe it would be very easy to use.Very beautiful brushes (especially #1) but I can't see myself using a brush like this. It would be a great brush just to display but I would have a hard time using it.
1 or 2. I'm in all the way!

I agree. We just need to make a decision. However, im not going to pay $550 for any brush. Lets make sure we keep it around $100.Sage wrote:Yeah, those are cool too. At this point, any of the brushes in the final running will work for me. I hereby vote that Joel does away with the democracy and gets us our brushes!!!
Seriously, all of the choices you have given us are fine by me. I just want my brush.
