Coates

Post by Sfox7076 »

I may be able to swing a deal to snap up some Coates creams for us in general. This would mostly be lime and rose. I want to get a feel for the number of people interested in buying it. It would be approximately $37-$40 per tub (all depends on tax) shipped in the lower 48 ($4.05 per tub to ship). I would have to buy a huge lot though to get it at this price though and so it will be an outlay on my part. Let me know if you have interest.

I have told Shawn I think 7 to 10 guys will bite at this within 24 hours. I mean, with all the people saying how the supplies are drying up and the fact that Coates is reputed to be going away, I would imagine people want to try it. It does not hurt that it is a great cream. I got a tub of Sandalwood coming from Shawn and I am tempted to go with a Limes, though I love my Castle Forbes Limes.

I've got a tub of the Tea Tree and a tub of the Limes coming from Shawn. He's great to deal with and his communication is great. Besides, I think he's our only link to Coates now, so we have to be good to him. :D

I was just about to PM you on the subject and encountered this tread.

Count me in, Shawn. I'd really prefer Sandalwood, but a tub of Rose would make me happy, too. (or both :))

Sorry John, there is no Sandalwood in the lot. The last pot went to Sam. THere may be some left at the 63rd st. Pasteur's, but the other one there was dried out. Ben has good results with it though...

Hi,

I'm in for Limes and Rose if there's any still going. Many thanks for thinking of this and best,

k

EDIT: I'm in Canada too but I'm happy to act as the receiver and to forward goods on if that's easier for you (and okay with other Canucks).

thanks again,

If you ship to Canada, I'd spring for a Rose and Limes too.
Expensive, but it may be the last time I see any for sale.... :(

I'm good for a rose or two or something other than lime.

Just when I've settled back on Trumper's Rose and Coconut creams as the ne plus ultra, this thread comes along.

Count me in for a tub of Rose.

Ok boys, I bought them out. But, alas, it was a lie to a point. Only 2 limes, the rest are tea tree... I have Rose and tea tree left. Here is the tally so far:

KD7Kip = Rose
JohnS = Rose
Kirkawall = Limes and Rose
Nitrox = Limes and Rose, but increased cost on shipping due to Canada, Eh.
Dave T = Rose and Tea Tree
Stevek = Rose
J Francisco = Rose
Baloosh = TT

They will be $39 each. Sorry, but I couldn't negotiate down farther, and I need to buy envelopes.

I have 3 Rose and 5 tea tree left. First come first serve.

Dibs on a tea tree. Thanks Shawn!!!

Sucks there's no limes left... will the tea tree tubs need re-hydrated?

All the one's I have opened are supple and in great shape. No rehydration needed. Though they aren't easy to open. I think someone used a wrench to tighten it.

Send me your addresses in Canada, I have to figure out shipping.

If I confirm that I have a pot for you, my paypal address is Sfox7076@aol.com. If you do pay via pay pal, it will be $40.50 as paypal charges me a little bit north of $1.50 for fees.

Those confirmed so far are:

KD7Kip = Rose
JohnS = Rose
Kirkawall = Limes and Rose
Nitrox = Limes and Rose, but increased cost on shipping due to Canada, Eh.
Dave T = Rose and Tea Tree
Stevek = Rose
J Francisco = Rose
Baloosh = TT
Thermopylae490 = tt and Rose

So 2 Rose and 4 Tea Tree left. Though payment is still pending on some of these.

I may take a Rose if still available, how does it compare to Trumpers or Taylors Rose Scent wise? Is the Tea Tree still available too?

Thanks,
Neale
