Wow...I just got a voicemail from a guy at FedEx informing me that my shipment had cleared F&W and was waiting to clear Customs. He said it would *probably* clear today and I'd *probably* have the package Monday. And...would you believe...he left his name and number in case I needed to call him back.

I think you're right they even delayed mine a second time a day later and a third time four hours after that.

Also, according to FedEx Customs is coming back to check out various packages at 10:30 EST. The rep I spoke with assured me they would be approved today. Here's to hoping for a saturday delivery! :)

I just talked with a Fedex Rep and she informed me that the brush has received F&W clearance but now the FDA wants to approve the shipment as well. Also they said once the FDA people come that the shipment should be approved quickly because all of the paperwork is in order. I just find it interesting that some people's brushes are on their way and that some of us are now waiting for additional clearance.

This is annoying but I guess these agencies are just doing their jobs. It's good to know that at least these agencies are checking some of the packages coming in from overseas. Our tax dollars at work :lol: .

I think the FDA is only getting involved with the shipments with Tabac...they have no jurisdiction otherwise, I believe

I just received a calll from Fed-Ex. Talk about customer service - I didn't even call them to inquire about the brush! Apparently, my package is still awaiting approval by Fish and Wildlife because of the "badger hair bristles." Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow or Monday.
