well well what's this? hmmm... what say you Sir Rustyblade?
Only if you sell the old one!
It has been said before: you don't know what RAD truly is until you go straight. So many makes, so many sizes, grinds, finishes, points, and that's just the blades. Then there is the scales...
Remember what they say about the internet, once you see something it is very difficult to unsee it.
Go take a big swig of Aqua Velva and lie down until the feeling passes. You'll be alright in the morning.
(they are cool looking razors though........)

Bill as usual you are right on the money. i did just that and after letting the dust settle on this latest episode i can only assume was a last hurrah of RAD...well, i am back to my old self and will dance with the one that brung me or in this case the TV58 that keeps me clean. thank you, sir for the proper diagnosis.

Richard, you know i have no idea why but i just ain't all that jazzed about straights. i can only imagine what you must go through on a day-to-day basis with those most addictive blades. thank the stars i am only addicted to TV58's! and if someone did happen to have a Rocket TV, i would surely trade or sell the one i've got before i started shaving with the new one! most kind, sir to allow me that possibility.
one thing is for sure, that is the last time i go to badger and blade!

Sal, take Gordon's free professional advice. I've seen his fee schedule and he doesn't come cheap. That quoted segment above cost me $100 6 months ago.
Sal, since your resolve is crumbling anyway, let me suggest a better alternative. The English Flaretip Rockets and US Flaretips aren't really much different, very similar in weight, etc. I have an assortment of both, and find them interchangeable.
What you really ought to consider is the English #58. It's like a TV that's all grown up and ready to get serious. It's beautiful, heavy, and a razor worth settling down with for a life of fidelity. If you make a clean break and do it, the Mods may even let you keep your title.
