Left to right:
1. 6" Sterling hallmarked with Simons Brothers Philadelphia 2224. Case engraved with elaborate initials that I simply can't decipher. Apart from 1 small ding and 1 small crease in case, excellent condition. The bdger knot is even in decent shape...........$75
2. 5-1/4" Sterling hallmark under cap is very difficult to read. Excellent condition with some minor dents on the portion that hold the badger knot. The knot is original with the crown worn flat. The cap has a very small engraved set of initials..........$85 SOLD
3. 4-3/4" Sterling silver repoussed travel brush. Marked sterling. Original knot quite worn. Cap has engraved initials and has quite a few dents although the body and repousse is excellent..........$50
4. 4-1/2" Hallmarked Chinese travel brush ca.1900. This one is most likely coin silver rather than sterling. It has a spectacular dragon applied to the body and I replaced the very worn knot with a new pure badger knot. The cap has a large depression on the edge as though it had been dropped and it hit base down. Very rare old brush......$85 SOLD
All prices include US postage and any paypal fees. International a bit more.
