hi larry

i have that same brush i dont know how old it is but i retired it two years ago. i used that brush for 20 years and before i had a barber used it for many years in his shop

i would like to get a good quaily knot for it and put it back in service

maybe you can share where the knot came from and what size knot it is
and what you used to epoxy it in place

I sprayed the paint then cooked the handle in the oven for 3 hours at 250.

the handle is a vintage handle. You can drill, or carve out the old hair and replace it with a knot of fresh badger hair. I get my knots from www.thegoldennib.com, they are also available at www.blankity-blanks.com
