Saturday

Slant w/ Feather
Floris No.89 SS
Floris No.89 cologne

Yes, I used the 89 SS without a brush. Rubbed the soap directly on my face, churned it up a bit using my hands, proceeded with a decent shave. Even though it's a bummer that I can't whip up a beautiful lather with it, I've decided that I'd rather use the soap like this than relegate it to use in the bath/shower...

Good afternoon gents, here's my first of many SOTD posts.

Razor: '54 SS
Blade: crystal israeli (fresh)
Brush: VDH boar
Lather: williams
A/S: nivea balm
EDT: polo sport

An excellent shave, no irritation, no weepers, about 98% BBS. I added a couple drops of baby oil to the williams and got an excellent creamy lather that didn't dry too quickly.

Andrew, I admire your pluck and determination, but for me, I'm afraid, the wretched stuff is going to end up in the shower....sigh.
