Gillette '58 TV w/ Astra Superior Platinum blade
Tom's Calendula cream
Proraso brush
Woods o' Windsor AS splash

My wife gave me the cream a few years ago for my birthday; I found it last Wednesday while organizing my blade inventory (yes, I know that sounds pathetic, like Jon in a Garfield Minus Garfield cartoon). The cream shaves very well, so naturally, it's been discontinued, by the look of Tom's website.

"D" Day 65th Anniversay

F2 Superspeed w/Derby
Shavemac Horn D01
Moss Scuttle
Valobra Shave Stick
Aqua Velva Ice Blue A/S

I didn't really need to shave today...but did so to relax and indulge. Nothing fancy though, just nice, clean and fresh!

Also, and more importantly, took the time to remember all those that fought for our freedom 65 years ago today and especially the 14,000 Canadian troops that stormed Juno Beach.

Bill

Saturday:

1971 Gillette LHSA w/Swedish Gillette blade
T&H Carleton (small) Super Badger
LaToja shave cream
Dickinson's witch hazel w/lavender EO and glycerin added
Trumper Coral Skinfood
Carven Vetiver

The LaToja cream is one of several samples Tim (TBoner) kindly sent. After one try with it, I'm going on record to say that it's good stuff. Smells like the soap, but more intense, provides decent cushion and fine skincare.

Razor "Filarmonica"
Brush "Acca Kappa Boar"
Soap "Arko"
Aftershave "Speick"

Soap has probably gone bad. Cannot get a decent lather anymore.

Sunday

Gillette Gold Tech
Gillette "Swede"
Simpson's Best Badger Special
D.R. Harris Arlington Shaving Soap
Musgo Real a/s splash.*

*I still have a sample of this. It hit's your face and goes all gooey, but once on it does the business.

[Edit] I had to wash the Musgo off mid-afternoon as my face had become very oily/greasy.

Sunday

Omega Syntex 90081
Gold Dachs Rivivage

Two good passes with the straight, a little help from the DE (1904/Derby) produced a good shave - not perfect but close.
Good shaving,

Good Sunday morning all...

Wald Es-Ex 5/8 and '51 Superspeed
Edwin Jagger BBB
Noxema sc
Thayers original WH w/ aloe
Musgo Real asb
SCS Sandalwood EdT

Still working on one WTG pass with the straight...a little careless and to small nicks to show for it...finished with the birth year superspeed and a "swede" blade (last day for that blade)...but a very smooth result...oh yes, and that Noxema is wonderful.
