Very glad to hear things are getting more sorted out. It is you and the other "old timers" (aka extraordinarily knowledgeable and sharing gentlemen of unusual graciousness and courtesy) that really differentiate this place from other forums. Any level of participation you can manage is very much appreciated. I'm sending a lot of positive energy your way.
Well, I rarely check the General section of the forum, so I'm arriving kind of late. I'm glad to see you back, and hope that the personal matters are resolved soon (and satisfactorily). Take care....you and your family will be in my thoughts.
Can't say I'm not worried, though. I sent him a PM on November 30, but it remains in my outbox - i.e. it hasn't been picked up yet. That's unusual for him. He's not "back" in the sense we had hoped.
Porter, Well, no....not 'back' on that old level....at least not yet. But I am picking up a little steam; see my posts on Xmas day and tonight.
Regards,
Gordon
At least you are still kicking Gordon. Shaving not the most important thing in our live, maybe? Good New Year to you I hope and also I wish well to all others in our forum

I know what you mean, Squire.
About a year after we moved into our house, we learned the previous owners had hastily covered the backyard with sod, instead of sowing grass seed. We found this out one morning, because during the night raccoons (probably searching for bugs to eat) had flipped nearly half of the sod upside-down. Definitely not the side of grass you want to see.
