Saturday, December 31st

Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Simpson Ehsan
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Yardley Black Label
A/S: D.R. Harris Marlborough

I am feeling a bit under the weather due to a sinus infection so decided to treat myself to some of my favorites. The Yardley Black Label soap is amazing and the Wilkinson Sticky/Polsilver combo mowed down the stubble with ease. A splash of Harris Marlborough and I am ready to...well...relax.

Good afternoon. Saturday PM:

Jaggerooney w/Dorco 301, #3
Alibaba, medium
Fitjar Neroli soap
Thayer's lavender witch hazel
Harris Pink
Trumper's Ajaccio Violet

We took the kids on a hike- great day, great views and, greater still, no whining on some tough uphills and scrambles. Thus, a late shave, but well worth it.
Best,
Chris

First go with the Merkur bakelite 45 today...

Merkur bakelite 45 with Astra SP on second shave
F&F almond soap
Finest badger hair brush
RR alum
Castle forbes Keig

This razor is insanely good, one of the best shaves I've ever experiences, 3 passes to pure BBS and absolutely zero irritation, effortless!

Feels like a toy, shaves like a champ! My only complaint is the threading should be brass like the post.

Saturday morning:

Top Ten for Men cream
Rooney 3/1 SS
Gillette Black Handle SS
Shark Super Stainless (2)
Generic Witch Hazel

Frankly the first shave on this blade was pretty forgettable. This shave with a slightly more aggressive razor was pretty nice (close).
