Tried taking the str8 all the way from bevel setting (after dulling on glass) for the first time using a progressive dilucot. Shave was nice too.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Gillette 48-50 Superspeed
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: Simpson Emperor 2
Soap or Cream: RazoRock XXX Soft Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Speick Splash
A nice, comfortable shave this morning. The Gillette Super Thin is currently one of my favorite blades–I find it to be very smooth and sharp. I’ve been getting into face lathering more lately, and the Emperor 2 did a fine job of lathering the RazoRock on my face. I decided to use the Speick splash because I hadn’t used it much recently. It was a good decision, providing a fine, refreshing finish.
