Good Sunday Morning
A transition day on Cape Cod. Coming off of 3 glorious warm, not hot, sunny dry weather, today is trying to
figure out what it wants to be.
Pre: QEDMan French Red Clay soap
Brush: Omega 10066
Soap: Haslinger Honey
Razor: Gem TTO ( need help in identifying)** and Gem SS blade (1)
Alum stick AND Clubman styptic powder
Post: Clubman A/S ...ouch
Clinique Post shave Healer (needed more than usual)
Mystic Waters Hair Oil
RazoRock aloe spray deodorant
Oh my, what did I do? Uncovered a stash of several Gem and Injector razors in a just unpacked box from last year's move. Not sure of this specific model.
Even with some great rich Haslinger lather, I gave myself one pronounced gash and 2-3 weepers, all on/around the chin. The shave was easily the closest
in some time, even measured against those with the Cobra. It's been 1 1/'2-2 years since a Gem was used and apparently whatever technique needed to
coax a gentler result from this particular Gem has long been forgotten.
But darn this shave was so close, I'm sure the temptation to grab this razor again will soon prevail!

**Duh, John, it is marked "Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf!"
