I really like this soap. It doesn't get much love but I have to wonder why. Prolific slick lather, good protection and near the best post shave skin feel I've run across. Have a good one.

My newest razor arrived today. Full hollow Dubl Duck square point 13/16 Special #1. I honed it and used it this evening. I'll make an effort to get a photo and post it in the next few days. I've heard a lot of good things about this particular model of razor. Now I get to experience it for myself.

I don't enjoy sharpening a razor at 5:30 A.M. but it was worth it. Excellent shave, smooth as silk. I've had this blade laying around for a while but haven't had a chance to get it in service. Made the scales Tuesday and cleaned it up a bit.

Insomnia was in full swing last night so I reset the knot from the green handled brush above to a 2-1 ratio and set it at 50mm in a different handle. This is the second boar I've set to a 2-1 ratio and I really enjoy the feel of the brushes. Dense, soft, lather monsters. Nice shave this morning. Have a good one.
