is $60 Bucks to much?

Let's talk about single and double edged razors and the blades that they use.

I say never look back. Just be happy with your purchase, and enjoy it to the maximum.

Thanks Gary, Been DE shaving now for about 4 months now and really got the hang of it. I have a Merkur 34c and a Mergress Adjustable. Both give me a GREAT Shave. Wanted to get a Vintage Gillette and a lot of you guys here like the FatBoy so i'm giving it a try.

Vintage gillettes have gone up so much since I picked mine up 8 years ago. Like the man said it is not too much if that's what it is worth to you.

If it's in good shape, and you don't like it after all, you can sell it for about what you paid. If it's not in good shape, return it to the seller for a refund. eBay and Paypal have pretty serious buyer protection.

Here's a few pictures of my First Vintage Buys. Gillette "Fatboy" F-1 & "Flartip" C-4. Really like them. Fatboy has some Plate issues on one site of Blade cover.

Can Shave with the Flartip though. Think I mite re-plate the Fatboy. Works really well. Thanks for looking and tell me what you guys think.

I've been looking just for fun and I think you've gotten a steal as yours has a case. i paid a little over $30 a year ago without a case and I'm watching several right now that don't look as good as mine going for close to double that. Enjoy and give us a report as soon as you can.

I agree -- getting the case was a true bonus ....... any of us fatboy owners would love to have one ourselves.

So, is the discoloration actually a loss of plating, or maybe it's something that might be removed with a careful polishing with a proper low abrasive substance that won't scratch the surface?

Hey Gary, No it's plate loss :( Seller said "never used" I don't know about that. Functions fine. I"m going to have it Plated. Sending it out today. Really looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it comes back.
