If anyone's reading these Nascar posts, remember Danica Patrick? She is being credited (elsewhere) as being the first and only female to have won the Indianapolis 500. She didn't win - she led a few laps! Heaven knows I wanted (still do) her to win a race, any race! Now she's a thing of the past, and we're still hoping someone of the female persuasion will actually WIN! It'll happen, sooner or later! Probably not Danica since she's no longer racing. Don't get me wrong, she's going strong and still kickin', just not racing.
