Qatar hosting. Looking forward to the next 8 months of anticipation leading up to the November/December World Championship.

Canada qualified for the first time since 1986. With their new coach the team has made big strides, but they have their work cut out for them now. =D>

Very disappointed that Italy didn't qualify. How?

That’s beyond disappointing, it’s ridiculous: Italy is currently ranked # 6 by FIFA, yet Canada ranked #38 qualifies. :-$

I’m thinking use because they didn’t gain enough points from their qualifying group stage??? 😉

Unfortunate for Italy fans I’m sure.

Oh yes, I'm upset. I was in that big parade back in '82 on St. Clair Avenue.
This is why I don't follow sports too much. Bottom line is always about money.

I've enjoyed the games this year, and am watching the final match with Argentina and France as I'm writing this post. Currently it seems that Argentina may have what it takes to win it all. Only 36 minutes in and Argentina already leads 2 - 0. France is just flat and lifeless. I was expecting France to play better as the defending champion.
