Caswell-Massey Number Six shaving cream this week. CM began business in 1752 in Newport, Rhode Island where it still resides.
The cream is protective and very slick. I use a brush on it, not creating thick lather like soap but there is a stable and creamy coating that provides optimum protection and in my case the blade glides and cuts whiskers, resulting in some of the most close and comfortable results.
