Been thinking it’s time for a new showerhead in the bathroom. I’ve stayed at some hotels that have the rain showerhead with the handheld all in one. We have a cheap waterpic showerhead in the guest bathroom that has like seven settings. That little ring around it sometimes gets hard to turn when your hands are soapy wet, and I’d like to replace it with the one we have in our master shower. That one just has two settings, which are a rainforest type of setting and then a full-on stream where you can rinse your hair out.
Unfortunately, we don’t have room in our shower to do jets and an overhead rain head. So we’re looking at getting something Esther at a place like Home Depot or off of Amazon. My wife doesn’t really use the settings for muscle aches whereas that’s what I love. Seven settings are probably going to be too much for us, but I wouldn’t mind more than just two.. So anyone have any suggestions? I am thinking that this time around we really want to get the one that has the handle showerhead where you can take it and rinse off your legs or whatever as well as the fixed part.

Re: Showerhead
Amazon carries hundreds of shower heads, and they receive hundreds of reviews. That would be my first recommendation. Good luck!

Re: Showerhead
Sam,
We went through an entire downsize last spring to a brand new adult lifestyle bungalow. The bathroom shower had a crummy water saving shower head which we replaced with a Moen Verso combination head. It's been excellent. We were coming from a large walk-in shower with a tower which had a rain head. The Moen is as good as what we had in our previous home. They aren't too terribly expensive -- around 200 or less at Home Depot or Lowes. Adding along for you to check out for yourself.

And yes -- this has been a couple of years since I was last on the board -- I just decided to have a look see at what's been happening.

Re: Showerhead
Been thinking of the heads that have a wand that you can detach. Affectation or practical in use?
Re: Showerhead
I wouldn't consider it any other way, Sam.
The detachable wand makes it way easier to clean the shower, and you can do all sorts of cleaning of body parts, pets, and objects that don't require you to stand under a standard shower head.

I love the detachable heads too. I can wash hard to get areas, and it has a massage pulse I can concentrate on the sore areas.
