D.R. Harris Arlington shaving cream:

This is one of my favorite shaving creams based on the performance and the fragrance.
A few words are all it takes to communicate how excellent it is.
This product performs as well as any other soap and cream I have ever used.

Update: April 24, 2026: Am now in a situation that I never anticipated there'd be anything as good (even better) as the Harris, but it happened.
I've come to the conclusion that the best shaves I'm enjoying these days are Reuzel and Cremo Cooling shaving creams. No water, no brush, no lather.
Something very different. Hard to find the correct words to explain how or why the just-shaven face feels so smooth. It just does. Something in the ingredients, maybe? After spreading the cream on my face, soap and water in the sink immediately wash off my hands.

Morning! Am I reading this right? You just apply Cremo on your face dry? No prep? What razor are you using for this? A straight, or your General?

Hi Gene. I always splash water on my face before a shave. The brush always gets good and wet under the faucet before it hits the soap or cream when creating the lather. Sorry if my remark was a bit misleading. The razor is the General.
