Vitos SIS
Semogue 610 boar
Gillette Slim set to 9
Vintage Gillette "The Spoiler" (4)
handcrafted menthol AS
It would take a truly terrible blade to not perform with this razor at this setting. This blade isn't terrible. This is the first really good shave I've gotten with this blade. This shave was just as comfortable as the others, but I expect a very close shave AND comfort. This is the first of those.

My 888 (my first) just arrived today, its a matter of time before I buy another RR (my second) soap. Enthrall me with the tale of this soap if you wouldn't mind. Its name sounds like it will smell good.RazoRock wrote:37C slant with a feather blade

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: iKon OSS
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo (04102) Boar/Horse
Soap or Cream: Mitchell's Wool Fat
A/S: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel, Meehan Bay Rhum
Ahhh...a great shave this morning! I hadn't shaved with an Iridium for many moons, so decided to pull one out from my stash to try in my iKon. As expected, it did a fine job of mowing the stubble, and the shave was silky smooth and comfortable. The MWF is always a joy to use and the Meehan Bay Rhum provided a very fragrant and stimulating finish.
