I've got an order that's due from Paul any day now. I know from experience that the gentleman who fills in for the regular mail delivery person has put my stuff in other people's mailboxes several times.

One day this winter I watched him put mail in my box, went out and got it, had one item belonging to a neighbor on the next block, I walked out and when he came down the other side of the street, I handed it to him and told him it was to someone on a different street. He says OK, the next day, he delivered the same item to me!

Paul's stuff always manages to show up at my home in 7 or 8 days, regular as clockwork. If I don't get something, I NEVER blame it on the shipper, because I already know what's happening to my stuff if I don't get it on time.

I have also received blades and soap
from paul and it usually take from 10 days
to 21 days.
But i live in Brazil.
When i did live in the U.S. It took 10 days from New York to Florida.
I could of drove there faster then the mail.
Rule of thumb domestic takes longer than international
mail. That just the way it is.
Also paul will make it right if you never get it. So just be calm and give it a few more days

I think you're blaming Connaught for Royal Mail's shortcomings.

Paul gets ten-out-of-ten from me for service. Royal Mail, on the other hand, I would march into the gas chambers en masse.

I would ask your local delivery office about it.

I would ask your local delivery office about it.
Done that AND collared the postman
Its a pack of blades (250) how large is this parcel likely to be ? would it fit through a letter box I wonder ?

We have had the odd letter from a totally different address, so I can attest to the post office' "quality"
Paul sounds solid enough - which is refreshing to hear these days... just that Ive been bitten via paypal before...
Thanks again for all the reassurance :D

Paul is good people and has good prices on his gear especially for SMF members. As Clive would say: 39 thumbs up!

Following up on my earlier post, I'm thinking my errant delivery person has struck again, as the package did not arrive today as I'd hoped. If it's not here by about Tuesday, then I know what to do because I've done it before. USPS has a very easily accessable complaint department, and they do get the job done with live feedback. <More to come!>

The 15 days is correct. Unfortunately RM, on the odd occasion, do lose mail or the common one is to not leave a calling card when it's been left at the depot or in the wheelie bin!

Just a thought... perhaps the thread originator should edit the subject line to something less open to negative interpretation of the vendor in question?

Agreed. No need for one question mark against his name, much less five.
