Oh well, you needn't post any self-portraits in the meantime.
I'm glad that other indicators are so positive.

I must say that following my chemo treatments I quite enjoyed not having hair on my head. Since the advent of COVID-19 I haven’t visited a barber: I bought a cordless electric clipper set and the wife gives me a #3 buzz cut periodically. Obviously, I like it this way and it keeps me a few steps ahead of nature, which has been doing a job on my fine, thinning hair.

Bryan. I use a 1.5 on my hair. About a moment away from trying the 1/2 and then bald. Sides are plenty of hair. My top is wispy

I have a Wahl Professional Ambassador, a cordless from the Prolithium Series. It too comes with 4 plastic attachment combs.

We haven't heard from Chris for awhile. I hope he's still making solid progress towards the desired outcome.

Still trying to get my kidneys rebooted and various blood chemistry issues settled. But one frickin' fantastic piece of news; my first chimerism test at Day +28 showed only 100% donor alleles on peripheral blood! This is very gratifying, as it means the transplant is already mopping up the native marrow cells and their devil-spawn. It might work out, in other words. Still no symptoms of acute graft versus host disease (where the new marrow takes a dislike to native-born tissues). It's possible I will get discharged from medical day at the end of this week and allowed to stay home and do bloodwork locally. Still completely bald and no beard growth.
I feel fine as long as I just sit around: activity makes me breathless and faint. This will improve.
C.

I concur with all the gentlemen above -- that's great news and I know everyone, including myself, on here are rooting for you! Myself, I'm really grateful for you and this great forum, which is still the best shaving board around, even though it's not as active as it once was. Even though I joined the party pretty late, I've still managed to learn so much by reading all posts by the many knowledgeable gents here.

Thanks for the news, Chris. Though you are still far from feeling well, the signs you report - and explain to those of us without a medical background - are encouraging, and our hope is renewed!
