'Vintage' (not sold anymore, anyway) Buckingham Palace shaving cream. It is quite good, better I think than most modern creams. The lather, while not thick, is adequate and provides cushion enough, and it is very slick. And the scent is quite pleasant, reminding me of Harris Windsor.

Portland General Store Alpine Shaving Jelly - this line has been on the shelf at Merz for quite some time, a review on another shave forum raised my interest so I decided to pick up a small tub for a trial. Have to say, this works pretty darn well and may be a fine addition for anyone's travel kit. I will give it some more time to see where I can go with this product.

Vintage College Club shaving cream, a middle-quality one. The lather is slick but slightly thin.

I'm using a soap my daughter gave me for my birthday. Don't recall the name but it was one of those cutsie labels that one gets in botiques. Smells good and shaves great, so I have no complaints.
