Superior Super 20mm
TOBS Sandalwood Shave Cream
1951 Gillette SS with Derby Extra
Aqua Velva Musk AS
Continuing my sandalwood week. No bowl, just loaded the brush with cream and lathered directly on my face. Excellent BBS shave. I really think it makes a difference since there is more time for the beard to get softened vs. only painting thte lather on.

Wednesday Night:
Weishi polished chrome razor
Treet Super Blue (carbon steel) blade
Omegal pure badger brush
Tryphon Medici shaving soap
Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
I favor carbon steel knives, so I'm really pleased to experience how good these Treet blades are. When I tried them before, I found them smooth, but dangerously sharp. This time around, I'm using them in the Weishi razor, with which they seem to be especially compatible.
The Omega pure badger brush is softening with use, though it has bloomed little. It is a great latherer and I like it better each time I use it.

Thursday
Noise: Bloomberg
Razor: Merkur Progress set @ 2.5
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2nd use)
Brush: C&E Best Travel Brush
Soap/Cream: Floris of London Elite
After Shave: KinOfShaves K24/8
Cologne: CK One
Much better than yesterday as I boiled a kettle to add to the tepid tap water, got a bowl of nice hand-hot water. One tiny nick in the ATG pass as I heard news about one of my stocks on the TV and turned to look
Bit of general razor burn as well so I obviously wasn't paying full attention to the blade angle.
Note to self: Music only
The C&E Travel brush doesn't seem to be able to hold sufficient lather for 3 passes so I add a dab extra of the cream to complete the 3rd pass; I thought this was due to the water yesterday but today was the same. This is not a problem I get at home making lather in a bowl with the same brush so this must be a travel/face thing.
Have a great day!
Iwan

Sabrooney FInest 1/2
De Vergulde Hand Scheerzeep (pronounced "skier's ape" so I'm told)
Lucky Tiger Tonic
T&H Spanish Leather (old formula)
Cool enough today for the Spanish Leather - always a happy day. Cool enough, in fact, for me to wear a regular T-shirt instead of one that wicks sweat. My Winter wardrobe, you might say...
Meanwhile, despite my shave being nigh on perfect, nice and close, no irritation, skin feels good, I'm just not quite happy with it and I have no idea why not. I'm puzzled.
