Great pics Joel.

Is it me or does that lather look thin? Or is that just how the shave stick lather looks on the face.

You can work the lather thicker than that. I have.

I used that delicious QED Grapefruit & Mint stick today. What a pure pleasure! As I was using it for a touch-up, I was not necessarily interested in a full face of lather. I started with my Kent BK12, but found that it was too hungry for the touch-up. I took out my old Edwin Jagger Best Badger (small knot and loft). Soaked it with hot tap water and whipped up a phenomenal amount of dense lather for three or four light rubs of the stick. \:D/

Thanks Joel. Very informative. I use the QED Lime stick for touch ups. Nevertheless, I also use it to lather and shave every so often.
