EMAIL CONTEST

Post by Sue »

Everyone has heard the radio contests; "be the number XX caller and win XXX".

Saint Charles Shave is having a email contest. Instead of calling by telephone, you will need to email.

In the 'SUBJECT' line type the words "EMAIL CONTEST". That's ALL, do NOT add any text in the body of the email, it will NOT be read with this subject line.

Email #27 - Wins a 3 ounce "Aspect" soap cake, shipping included.

Email #42 - Wins a 1.7 ounce bottle of "Aspect" Aftershave Milk, shipping included.

Email #95 - Wins a 3.3 ounce bottle of "Aspect" Eau De Toilette.
(( Should an International resident win the EDT, a 3.3 ounce bottle of Alcohol free "Aspect" Aftershave milk will be substituted.)) Shipping included.

Winning email addresses will be notified after all three prizes have been won. It will be up to you to respond with your shipping information. If you win, I will post only your First Name and City.

***Only one entry please***

So, when does this begin??

Right now!

Tony,

I'm beginning to wonder that we may be #1 and #2 on the list. We should have waited to get a better chance. But then again, we may have gotten the ball rolling to this most excellent adventure!

Keep those emails going guys!

Regards,

Bill

No....you couldn't be number 27, 42 or 95, you'd be number 1 or number 2 and no one wants to be either of those.

But a hint, I receive on average about 75 email a day.

Sue-

I know this wasn't your intention, but this would be great idea to start a mailing list. If you decide to start one, I'd be more than happy to receive emails about your upcoming soaps/scents, promotions etc...

Richard,
I don't keep any information of anyone except addresses of my testers. The only records I have are in Paypal history. I have thought of offering what you suggest whcih would be voluntary to enroll but haven't a clue how to set it up.

I didn't get an email back, which I guess means I'm not among the lucky 3.
but that's ok - i'm sure sooner or later i'll try st charles...

Sue, I was thinking the same thing about having an emaillist if sending out news would be useful to you. There are several ways to do it, but the easiest ones for you would probably be to have it be part of your email system. So you just send an email to that address. I am not sure what kind of email system you guys have, but you may want to look in the configuration panel or settings or whatever that is of your website. Many have something about
mailinglists and there would be instructions how to go about this....
Anyways, just thought this may help you.

Hi Sue,
Is the Peter, Pete? I sent mine in after Tony posted in this thread but not long before Bill, so the time is about right. I checked my email and didnt see anything there. If youre not sure I can send you another email so you can compare email addresses. Im not sure if I am though, my email address is my name, so you wouldnt have had any problems telling what the senders name was.

Wow! I don't know what to say. Thanks a lot Sue. I sent off the email not thinking I would actually win. Now all that remains is for me to figure out what "Aspect" actually smells like.

Thank you again.
