What do you use to lather with that thing, a salad bowl?
How long would a tub of Trumpers last, a couple of weeks or so?
How long does it take to wash out when you are done?

I want to understand, but I am having trouble.
I would imagine that one acquires items like this for the same reason people climb Mount Everest.
To me, it would be like shaving with a Ginsu 2000, to prove that I could, but only after slicing through a cement block (to prove that it could).

Still, it's under $200, maybe I should get one!

Yeesss.....yeessss....he's used it.....of course.....it's Peter we're talking about here, afterall ( chuckle ). I know someone else who actually went to the Vulfix facility to WATCH them make his, and then went home and lathered up with it. Rather dememted, of course....but, this is SMF.....

I can see that this would be nice if it were 50 years ago, and if I were a busy barber with a lot of customers to shave in a hurry.

I can't quite imagine myself using it at home. (Well, actually I can, but it isn't pretty.) :D

I would consider putting one on each side of my driveway, for that classic look.

Unlike Peter, I have only two of these. One Pure and one 'Silvertip'. Neither is actually useable, and serve only as display brushes in a shop window (unless you have an elephant in need of a shave, that is).

Apparently not haha. I didn't know people bought these just to look at and not use them. Chalk it up to me being a newbie? haha
