Very optimistic pricing, I think if you were to pay that sort of price you would want providence for each razor, which I imagine is impossible. Beautiful but $4-5000 tops even that is pushing it.
Methinks the seller is trying it on. Razors are a bit like pianos I reckon, the old ones may look nice, but there were so many thousands, perhaps millions made of each type, and thousands of brands. You need some real history with them to make them valuable, ie this particular razor belonged to Abe Lincoln or something like that and be able to prove it.

I wrote to the guy to ask him for an estimate of the value of the top 5 and bottom 5, and he answered:

"Sorry,
I don't know the answers to your questions, but you're welcome to come and see the razors and make your own judgement."

He's in Alabama.

Brothers! For 23k that razor better give me much more than a shave and Abe Lincoln better of not just shaved with it he better have made it. :lol:
