shaving with my hoffritz and vintage blades

Post by marsos52 »

i have a hoffritz slant from the 1974 era.. its exactly the same year and model i once owned for over twenty years

from time to time i treat myself to a shave with it, for the memories

last week i was clearing out my drawer where i store it, and opened the box to see the razor, i never realized it has the two orginal hoffiritz blades that came with the razor.

so today i decided to shave with the slant and to use one blade.
i used to buy hoffritz blades back in the day

i know the razor and the blades are merkur

i still use merkurs blades and razors to this very day and im happy with that

but i must admit. those blades where amazing, andwhat a match with the hoffiitz slant too

smooth is the word, as well as sharp. such a amazing feeling to shave with a quality razor and blade

i want the old days to come back

such a shame that these days we have far more choices of shave products
and no real blades to enjoy
