Being an ignorant sort of chap, I'm afraid I've never heard of it, so I doubt if it is that important.

Re: Argan Oil
I've recently come into possession of a couple of RazoRock soaps ("For Chicago", "Don Donato", "Classic" and "Tobacco #1"), all which are new to me. All of them perform very well for me and I wondered what they might have in common.
As it turns out, in the descriptions for those soaps on Italian Barber they say "... now uses our RazoRock Super Tallow Formula which includes Tallow, Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Aloe Vera and Lanolin, for unmatched post-shave and razor glide!"
(oops - Don Donato is not a "Super Tallow Formula" soap, but it does have argan oil.)
Whatever it is, it doesn't hurt the soap.

Apparently it's also good for dipping bread in, and on couscous.
