Re: Tribute Shaving Cream
Gordon, this is a good product. I've tried some bad ones. If they scent this stuff, it would be an incredible product. For me, at least.

Re: Tribute Shaving Cream
I’ve been using Tribute Shaving Cream for a week now. It’s available from the Tribute Supply Company. They market it as a “Manly Shaving Cream”. It comes packaged in a 4 oz. glass jar, metal lid, clean packaging. Nicer than the normal “plastic” tubs of my old standby Taylor of Old Bond Street or Tru...

Re: Tribute Shaving Cream
One shave does not a review make, but we are off to a good start! I'll know more in a week!

Re: Tribute Shaving Cream
There are reviews on Amazon. Tribute followed me on Twitter, which piqued my curiosity. A shaving cream that woks well with or without a brush? Once in a great while I'm rushed and don't have time to go through the brush routine, so this really got me interested. So, not having purchased anything bu...

Re: In Praise of the Kent BK4
I've been through a lot of brushes. This still remains an elusive one for me. Someday. Someday.

Re: new CCW pistol
My first daily carry was a S&W .38 special snubnose airweight with shrouded hammer. Love the gun, but with +P ammo, accuracy is not what I wanted. Now I carry a Firestorm 9mm. Absolutely love this fun. Two 9 round mags keep it operational. Easy to shoot and the most accurate of all of my pistols...

The only car I owned which had no warranty problems was a 1982 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wagon. I bought it in 1995 for a grand including the safety check, drove it for 2 years, and sold it for $500 as-is. Rear side window leaked in the rain, especially when I took a right turn -- I can only imagin...

Astra SP
Seems like no matter how many packages you open, soaps, creams, razors, aftershaves, pre-shave, post-shave, straights, brushes, stands, whatever, you get a new product and sometimes you just say, WOW! Happened tonight. 3 new products, one shave. Astra SP, Palmolive Shave Stick, Pinaud Clubman. Used ...

Merkur 38C HD Quality
I'm a big fan of Merkur. I bought their HD Classic and loved it. When the 38C was introduced, I got right in line. Great shaves and I love the heft. If you bought a 38C when they were first introduced, how has the finish held up? Mine is showing a lot of wear on the top.
